We had the wonderful privilege of shooting Hannah and Johnnie’s wedding a few weeks ago, and let me tell you, it was indeed a privilege. This may have been the most beautiful wedding ceremony that I’ve ever been able to witness. I teared up multiple times and I barely knew the bride and groom! For starters, one of the bride’s brothers played and sang a gorgeous arrangement of the song Beautiful by Phil Wickham for the processional. If you haven’t heard it before you have to go listen to that song. I get chills every time I hear it. Another tear-up moment was when the bride’s father (who co-officiated the ceremony) told the congregation about how he and his wife had given their daughter a purity ring when she was young and had made a commitment to stay pure for the husband God had for her, and that she melted down that purity ring and had it made into her groom’s wedding band. Can I get a collective WOW?!? Yeah, there was much dabbing of the eyes by all during that ceremony. So beautiful.
Congratulations, Hannah and Johnnie! We were so honored to be a part of your special day. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
