Way back when I wrote this post I never thought that any of our clients would actually have to brave arctic cold with us because, really, we’re in South Carolina. South Carolina, for Pete’s sake! Entire towns shut down for days if there is even so much as a snow flurry in the weather forecast.
But here’s the thing… I was wrong.
We drove up to North Carolina for this photo session and boy was it ever cold. 34 degrees, in fact. Oh, and did I mention that it was snowing? Yes, snowing! This family is very brave and very committed to having some photos taken for the grandparents Christmas gifts. Whoever wasn’t in the picture would hurry into their coat, stamp their feet and jump up and down to stay warm. The poor souls whose turn it was to have their picture taken had to just sit, coat-less, and let the cold soak through their clothes and turn their extremities to ice… and smile! Commitment, I tell you, commitment…
