Mason | Newborn Lifestyle Session

You guys… I am falling more and more in love with these in-home newborn lifestyle sessions. There is something about photographing a family in their home, their own comfort zone, that gives newborn photos a whole new feel. Baby is comfortable, Mom and Dad are more relaxed, everything is more laid back. You really get a feel for that slower (albeit sleep-deprived) pace of life that typically occurs during those first few weeks with a newborn. Everyone may be walking around in a zombie/sleep-deprived state, but there are many moments when you can just sit and stare at that sweet baby that you have been waiting for and that is finally here and laying in your arms. Sweet times, y’all, such sweet times.

And now, for today’s newborn lifestyle session. I know Mason’s parents were running low on sleep but you would never guess it because they were full to the brim with love and pride in their little boy. And sweet Mason? He was so cooperative and tolerant of me being all up in his personal space, and he rocked his little knit outfits! Y’all, the baseball outfit… I nearly died from the cuteness.
