I’ve heard that if it rains on your wedding day it’s supposed to be good luck. If that’s the case, then Brad and Courtney should be set for life! A torrential downpour thought that it was invited to the wedding and decided to arrive about 2 hours before the outdoor ceremony was to begin. Of course there was a backup plan, so after a quick switcheroo the ceremony ended up taking place under a covered deck with the music of the gently falling rain in the background. Beautiful!
Thankfully the rain cleared up after the ceremony and we were able to take all of the portraits in the freshly scrubbed outdoors. Colors are never so vibrant as they are right after a good hard rain. Love it!
This next series was taken while the bride and groom were in the photobooth that they had at their reception (super awesome idea, by the way, for all of you future brides and grooms). The photobooth was open to all of the wedding guests and there were people lined up for that thing at all times! I stuck my camera through the curtain for these fun photos.
And here is a little bonus for you, dear blog readers. Wenzel Photography (and lovely assistant, Cali) in the photobooth! I cannot stress enough the awesomeness of that thing. I want one in my living room.
